specialists and apprentices with keynote speakers addressing the latest
technologies, trends and developments in the collision repair industry.
Lowbake Portable Spray Booth
The Lowbake
facility incorporated a lecture room with a see through panel, where
visitors were able to watch demonstrations from the industry's top
paint companies.
I-Car Welding Accreditation program
The I-CAR Welding Qualification tests allowed professionals the
opportunity to prove they had the necessary skills to perform the tasks required
for proper, efficient, and safe collision repairs. The hands-on tests need
to be successfully completed every five years to maintain the
qualification.
The Collision Repair Expo is colocated with the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo which is the single largest event of its kind featuring the very latest parts, accessories, tool and equipment.

SACHS
masters Skills Competition
The running of the SACHS Masters was a highlight of the Expo
and proved to be an outstanding success. The challenging 3 day competition
saw 13 finalist teams of 3 members each from all over Australia take on a
criterion of complex mechanical and diagnostic problems on two identical Toyota
Corolla vehicles. The 2009 SACHS Masters Champion team was Team HPF (Horse
Power Factory) from the Victorian workshop of the same name.
International Showcase
A broad array of new products within
dedicated international pavilions are displayed at the Expo.
Visitors are able to discover over 100 companies displaying the latest
products from Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.
Show Cars
Featured throughout the
Expo are some of the most exclusive cars from Australia and abroad,
including exotic sports cars to classic vintage vehicles. Visitors have the
opportunity to speak with celebrity drivers and get up close to these sought
after vehicles.
