1. What is going on at the Expo?

Australia's only dedicated event for the collision repair industry will take place from 12 - 14 May 2011 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. A number of exciting events will be held at the Expo.  For more information on these events visit the Feature Events page. 

The co-located Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo will feature 100s of Australian and international companies showcasing the latest parts, accessories, tools and equipment. More info at www.aftermarketexpo.com.au

2. When is the Expo open?

3. Where is the Expo being held?

The Melbourne Exhibition Centre is centrally located across the road from the Crown Casino Complex within 500 metres of the Melbourne central business district and is well served by public transport.

Trams
There is a tram stop at the entrance to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Tram Nos. 12, 96, 109 travel along Clarendon Street from South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and St Kilda and service the CBD via Collins and Bourke Streets.
Trams run every 6-8 minutes during peak times, 7.00am - 9.00am and 4.00pm - 6.00pm and every 10-12 minutes between 9.00am and 4.00pm.

Trains
Southern Cross Station (formerly Spencer Street Station) is just a short stroll from the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Taxis
Taxi ranks are located at the doors to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre as well as all major hotels, Crown Entertainment Complex (across the road from the Melbourne Exhibition Centre) and Southern Cross (formerly Spencer Street Station) and Flinders Street Stations. 4. Who can attend?

The Collision Repair Expo is a trade only event.

Admission is restricted to persons working within the automotive or related industries. Business identification may be requested upon entry.

7. What sort of products will I see?

You will see 100s of new collision repair parts, accessories, tools and equipment. The Collision Repair Expo is co-located with the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo 2011 where thousands of new automotive aftermarket products are on display. A number of international pavilions including China,Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia will also be incorporated into the 2011 event. 8. Do I need to register to attend as a visitor?

Yes, register online today

9. What happens when I register?

If you register online closer to the Expo, you will receive an emailed confirmation that gives you a summary of your registered details as well as your registration identification number. Your Visitor Access Card will then be mailed to you before the Expo.

If you fax or mail us your registration your registration will be processed and your Visitor Access Card mailed directly to you before the Expo.

All Visitor Access Cards will commence being mailed closer to the Expo.

10. Can I change my registration details or check my details?
Yes, if you need to check what details have been registered please telephone +61 3 9654 7773. Your registration can also be altered onsite at the registration desk at the entrance to the Expo.

11. When can I expect my Visitor Access Card?
Your Visitor Access Card will be mailed to you closer to the Expo, otherwise you can collect your card onsite at the registration counter when you arrive at the Expo.

12. What if the name, company or industry type on my card is not correct?
If your card contains incorrect information bring it along to the registration desk at the entrance to the Expo, where the operators can print a new card for you on the spot at no cost.

13. What if I forget my card?
Registered visitors may obtain replacement cards at the registration desk without filling out another registration form. You will already be on our database. Just bring business identification with you.

14. Can I still attend if I have not registered before arriving?
Yes, you are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter at the entrance to the Expo. We recommend pre-registration so that you avoid any queues. All onsite registrations will require business identification.

15. What do I need to bring as business identification?
Relevant identification includes: business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification.

16. Can students attend?

Tertiary or Tafe Students may visit the Collision Repair Expo on Saturday 14 May. 
Course administrators MUST apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the Expo's commencement.  Details must include institution, course, number of students and preferred attendance time.

Email applications to collision@aec.net.au  As this is a business event, students do not register to attend.

17. Can I bring my family to have a look?
This is a business event and entry is restricted to trade only. Children under 16 may attend free of charge if accompanied by an adult at all times.

21. Do I need a Visa to visit Australia?
Most International visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au. Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.
