AAAA Collision Repair Expo sets industry bench mark

The great depth and quality of the exhibitors’ showcase at the recent AAAA Collision Repair Expo in Melbourne attracted a record number of visitors and set a new benchmark for the scope and presentation of crash repair sector trade shows in Australia.

More than a quarter the 10,768 visitors to the AAAA shows were counted at the gates of the three day event as specifically registered Collision Repair Expo Visitors, however thousands more visitors from the Automotive Aftermarket Trade Show also attended as they have a business interest in the crash repair sector.

"This was the advantage of running the specialist new Collision Repair Expo and the traditional AAAA Trade Show in adjacent halls in the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The synergy between some sectors of both industries is strong and this collocation strategy benefits exhibitors in both areas"  said AAAA Executive Director Stuart Charity.

Over the 2 shows more than 400 leading companies showcased the latest crash repair products & solutions, automotive aftermarket parts, accessories, tools & equipment including:

> Paint Products & Applications
> Chemicals & Surface

> Preparation Products
> Collision Repair Tools & Equipment

 > Replacement Panels, Parts & > Frames
> Computer Software & Hardware
> Training & Technology

"Special activities that brought favourable comment from visitors included the world first Lowbake Demonstration Spray Booth, which featured demonstrations by top suppliers such as PPG Industries, Akzo Nobel, DNA Paints, De Beer, and 3M, and the PPG International Seminar Series, which drew good crowds. Another highlight was the regular bus tour schedule to visit the new Kangan Batman TAFE Automotive Centre of Excellence." said Stuart Charity.
